K.MAN gives Audi R8 V10 more power with GTK packages

K-Man-tuned-Audi-1

German tuning company K.MAN has upped the ante of the Audi R8 V10 by creating three twin-turbo variants that eclipses the power of the factory stock R8 V10, R8 V10 Plus and the R8 V10 GT.

Called the GTK, it only tips the scale at 1680kg, 40kg less than the stock model and only 10kg heavier than the Plus model. All three GTK variants are also equipped with a Bilstein clubsport chassis frame that was co-developed by Quattro legend, Walter Rohrl, to increase its handling capabilities.

A twin-turbo system boosts the power of the R8 V10 and is available in 3 models, depending on what the client wants.

First is the base model GTK that is rated at 590 PS, 30 PS more than the R8 GT. The second model is the GTK S, which bumps the power rating to 640 PS. The range-topping model of the bunch is the GTK RS that is capable of releasing 750 PS to its four wheels. An optional manual gearbox is also available across the range.

There are no 0-100 km/h times recorded, instead, K.Man provided 0-200 km/h times for each of the GTK models.

The base model GTK is capable of doing it in 11.9 seconds; the GTK S can do it in just 11.4 seconds and the GTK RS will reach the 200 km/h mark in just 10.6 seconds, which makes the R8 GT’s time of 12.1 seconds look “old” according to K.MAN.

Other options available to the GTK are carbon fiber and fiberglass body panels. K.MAN also offers a Cross-X exhaust system with valve control.

All modifications done to the car comes with a 2 year warranty.
