Custom Ford Edge concepts to debut at SEMA 2015

Ford is set to bring three customized Edge concepts that have its own theme and style during the 2015 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in November.

2015 Ford Edge Tjin Edition

According to Ford, the Tjin Edition previews the street performance version of the 2015 Edge. The vehicle features a custom Axalta Clipper Blue exterior paint along with “LightWurkz” headlights, restyled 22-inch wheels and a lowered ride height.

Powertrain modifications include a front-mounted intercooler, a Motiv downpipe and a Magnaflow exhaust. In addition, the chassis of the Tjin Edition gets a custom air lift suspension.

2015 Ford Edge Ignition by Webasto

The Ignition by Webasto Ford Edge is said to deliver a Mustang-like performance. It features carbon fiber components as seen on the front chin spoiler, side rockers and rear diffuser. The vehicle is also equipped with a carbon fiber engine and radiator cover.

Performance-wise the Ignition by Webasto Ford Edge is fitted with a boost controller, throttle enhancer, ECU calibration and an axle-back exhaust system. It also comes with an aluminum brake kit courtesy of Rotora and AL23 forged monoblock wheels.

2015 Ford Edge Sport Vaccar

Ford says the 2015 Edge Sport Vaccar concept is all about “featured amenities, power for the road and modern fashion.” The vehicle has a Vaccar Futura flat silver metallic exterior with brushed metal paint and orange accents.

Powertrain modifications include a dual exhaust system, twin tube intake kit, chrome air filters as well as Flowmaster HP-2 mufflers and stainless steel pipes.
