Hyundai-main

A modified Hyundai Veloster Turbo has been revealed prior to its debut at the 2015 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in November.

Customized by a Chicago-based tuner named Blood Type Racing Inc., the modified Veloster Turbo features a carbon black exterior paint along with a red racing stripe. It is fitted with carbon fiber widebody kits, a front splitter and canards. Hyundai adds that the vehicle is equipped with “demon eye” headlights.

The rear of the modified Veloster Turbo gets a prominent wing and a carbon hatch. It is finished off with 19-inch SSR Professor TF1 wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes R888 tires.

This Veloster Turbo features a stripped down cabin. It comes with a four-point roll cage and harness as well as Sabelt racing seats and steering wheel. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with audio upgrades from Rockford Fosgate and Tanabe OLED Revel gauges.

Under the hood, the tuned Veloster Turbo is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that is modified with a Garrett turbocharger, a new intake manifold and a methanol/water injection system. Hyundai says the vehicle gets custom intercooler, a sports exhaust system and new engine internals. In this regard, Hyundai claims that the power output of the vehicle is more than 507 PS.
