Hyundai and Bisimoto Engineering are preparing a 1,000 horsepower (1,014 PS) Genesis Coupe for the SEMA 2013 in Las Vegas. How exactly can they put that much power in the turbocharged 3.8 liter Hyundai V6 engine?
The tuning company is known for boosting the output of production-grade engines. On the case of this Hyundai Genesis in particular, Bisimoto will be working with the naturally-aspirated Genesis Coupe 3.8 R-Spec engine as the core building block. This concept is designed to be a reliable street car equipped with an outrageous power under the hood.
Painted in ‘Electric Blue’ with black accents, the modified Genesis runs on a fully-built 3.8-liter V6 engine boosted by a Twin Bisimoto/Turbonetics BTX6462 turbochargers and other aftermarket components.
