Every respectable shop ought to have a demonstration (demo) car. A car that would define the craftsmanship and capability of the shop as well as showcase its offerings to its potential clients. For Car Porn Racing, a proper demo car would manifest itself through this.

Welcome to the Art Car. What started out as an A31 Nissan Cefiro previously used for a car control school years ago has evolved into this rolling masterpiece.

The Art Car

Obviously what strikes your eye-and pretty much everyone else out on the road for that matter-is the paint. No printed foil wraps here, under several layers of clear coating all the markings were hand drawn by Ally Casey over a span of one week working 6 hours a day.

Overfenders

In order to match the striking paintjob, this car had to have a body that stood out from your run-of-the-mill Cefiro as well. That said, Car Porn Racing set to work creating several parts for it. The custom buck chin, overfenders, and ducktail wing serves to give the Art Car that menacing works-inspired look.

Wheels and brakes

A rule of thumb when modifying cars is that wheels will make or break the look of any car, and certainly the Art Car has to have the right set to pull the right look off. With that, these gunmetal Rota RK-Rs in 17×9 guise completely round up the works look the car is going for. Peeking underneath all four corners is a full Runstop Big Brake Kit (BBK) with four-pot calipers all around plus two-pot calipers in the rear linked to the hydraulic E-brake.

Like I said, the Art Car is meant to be a showcase of the plethora of products Car Porn Racing has to offer, with the first being this; the X-Force Varex Variable Exhaust. This muffler contains an electronically controlled butterfly valve inside that allows the option of having the exhaust silent or completely free flowing. With this, there won’t be any need to wake your neighbors up when you decide to go out for a drive in the morning!

The next, and probably the most popular among the shop’s products these days is the AirRex Digital Air Suspension kit installed on this car as well. Air suspension provides the convenience of lowering the car for that slammed or fitted look when parked while allowing a high ride height for Manila’s horrible roads. All this while providing the same handling characteristics as you would get on a conventional coilover suspension.

Lastly, Car Porn Racing is known for their crazy V8 transplants into various vehicles, with this being no exception. What you see here is a Toyota 1UZ-FE 4.0L V8 shoehorned into the bay. Mated to a Nissan RB25 (Skyline GT-T) transmission via a Car Porn Racing custom adaptor plate, the Toyota V8 provides the much needed bump in power-and more so torque-to easily light the rear wheels up for some proper sideways action!

The interior is set up in a pretty straightforward drift car affair, all while maintaining key creature comforts like a radio and air-conditioning. You’ll find that a K-sport hydraulic E-brake is the prominent item in the console area, as well as a full cluster of Autometer Classic gauges that include proper water and oil temperatures integrated with the other essentials when keeping the 1UZ V8 in check. Notably the Art Car also has four-yes, even the rear seats-Concept One bucket seats so more people can enjoy a ride when this goes out drifting!

With one-off looks, a V8 heart, daily usability, and plenty of toys to spare, the Art Car encompasses all the qualities of the cars and products to come out of Car Porn Racing. All the while setting the standards of how well-rounded a proper demo car should be.

    hello iv notice you have a different grille to most cefiros..what model did they come out in? i can only seem to find photos of that grille on your car.
