The tuning company famous for modifying BMW and MINI vehicles recently divulged their tuning program available for the new BMW X4.
The front end of the X4 gets a new lip spoiler while the rear is fitted with a new diffuser. Decorating the side profile of the car are a pair of carbon mirror caps and new side skirts. Also included are wheel sizes that measure 18-22 inches and come in 3 designs; Type VIII forged alloys that can come in BiColor Black, silver or anthracite, Type IV alloys that can be painted in BiColor or silver and the Type V alloys that can be finished in BiColor Black or anthracite.
Aftermarket interior amenities supplied by AC Schnitzer consist of a choice of 2 unique gear knobs and an aluminum pedal set. The gear knobs can be had in either leather with a digital gear display or in a ‘Black Line’ aluminum finish.
Power has also been increased for the entire X4 model lineup. On the gasoline side, the base model 20i gets 245 PS, the mid-range 28i receives 294 PS while the range topping 35i garners a healthy 360 PS. Those that prefer a diesel will not be disappointed as the base model 20d gets a decent 220 PS while the 30d now outputs 309 PS. At the top of the diesel heap is the 35d which now generates a hefty PS rating of 360. All of the engines are modified with the tuning company’s ‘Efficient Performance’ principle which means that even though power output has been increased, CO2 emissions remain the same.
Additional upgrades available for the X4 are the dual ‘Racing’ exhaust pipes that improves performance/sound and AC Schintzer-branded suspension spring kits that lowers the car by 20-35mm.
